Decennia was originally set up as a weightlifting club and has seen lifters reach success on a national level.
Weightlifting consists of two lifts, the Snatch and Clean & Jerk and aside from the growing public participation in the sport these two movements will also improve your strength, power, speed and agility for most other sports as well. Whether you just want to learn and perfect your technique or you are a seasoned weightlifter, come and join the team!
All of our sessions are coached by British Weightlifting (BWL) licenced coaches and we have the only Level 2 BWL coach in the area.
Gymnastic skills should be an important part of your fitness plan and we believe essential if you want to build a solid and injury free foundation on which to progress. Our gymnastic strength classes work on pulling, pushing and mid-line strength, both straight arm and bent arm work and delve into more complicated movements such as muscle ups, handstands and levers when you are ready. Our classes are suitable for any level, so if you are a proficient CrossFitter wanting to dial in those harder skills to shorten your workout times or if you are looking to achieve your first ever push up or pull up then we have you covered with our structured and progressive programming cycles.
